Coded Welding
Coded welding to a standard you can sign off
Professional coded welding for commercial, industrial and engineering clients across Scotland and Northern England, in stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and specialist alloys.
Coded welding is where quality stops being a matter of opinion. TM Engineering & Welding Services supply qualified coded welding for pipework systems, industrial plant, structural work and repairs, with the same attention to detail whether it's a single joint or a full shutdown.
With 24+ years on the tools and a hands-on owner on every job, we support fabrication projects, pipework systems, industrial maintenance, structural work and on-site engineering requirements, safely and to programme.
Services are available for workshop fabrication, site installations, shutdown support and reactive repairs.

FAQs
Common questions.
What does “coded welding” mean?
A coded welder has passed qualification tests to a recognised welding standard for a specific process, material and position. It's what clients and insurers expect on pressure systems, process pipework and safety-critical structural work. Ask Tommy for current qualification paperwork for your job.
Can you weld stainless and aluminium as well as carbon steel?
Yes. We weld stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and specialist or exotic alloys, in the workshop at Creca or on site.
Do you arrange NDT?
Where the job calls for it, yes. Our boiler furnace D-patch repair, for example, was completed with full NDT.
